Moss

Moss?

Three guys from the four corners of the world, quite clearly shit at maths, grown out of the primordial ooze that is Noughties music. Coming together from the Land of the Rising Sun, the Land of Ice, and Oxford. Batteries not included.

    Hello all!

Just cos it's snowing don't mean we gonna stop rocking!

Moss and Friends is back this Thursday with a bang after what has felt like an outrageously long break and as usual we bring you a line up of shockingly good taste.

First up Marinda & Solari.  This soulful couple have just come across the pond from Canada and we are lucky enough to be hosting their first London gig - not to be missed!  Marinda's gorgeous jazzy vocals floating effortlessly over Solari's Spanish guitar are sure to fill you with a nice warm feeling that you'll want to take home with you.  And you can in the form of their aptly titled album "Cup of Tea"!

Then, after your very own Moss boys, have injected you with your regular dose of fuzzy green (acoustic) rock, it will be time to get shaking to the sunny sounds of The Cracked.  They promise to bring with them 'oooodles of Baleric sunshine with bananas and oranges' (despite the fact that they like to give their songs disturbingly dark titles like 'Lets Kill Ourselves') so you might even want to get your flip flops out.

So, all in all, it looks like it's going to be a night of hot, hot fun and the perfect antidote to the freezing cold weather outside.

Thanks to everyone who came out to rock at the Monto Water Rats.  Check out these photos of the gig taken by the brilliant Andrew Harvey on Flickr.

Stay tuned for the next Mosscast.  Part One featuring an interview and live performance from Marinda & Solari will be released within the next few days followed by Part Two in a couple of weeks time.  And don't forget you can still download old episodes of the Mosscast from iTunes.

    See you all on Thursday!
